Laser Resurfacing
C02 laser resurfacing, an ablative laser treatment for the face, neck and/or décolleté, treats severe lines, wrinkles, sun damage, deep acne and traumatic scars. This deeper skin treatment corrects damage and brings younger layers of skin to the surface. Fractional C02 lasers remodel collagen, improving elasticity and tightening the skin over time.
Healing and recovery time after laser resurfacing varies according to the size and depth of the treated area. Typically, the wounded area will be pink, tender and swollen for at least seven to ten days. To protect and preserve the skin, you will avoid sun exposure for six weeks and regularly apply sunblock in the event of incidental exposure.
